You’ll both be having a lot of fun while you learn!

We practice only positive reinforcement methods and do not support punishment-based practices. We promise always to treat you and your dog with respect and patience, and to work within your dog’s comfort zone – and yours! While we do encourage you to challenge yourself and your pet during class or at home, we want you to have fun and to enjoy the learning process.

God has blessed our lives with these amazing animals we call dogs, out of love and respect for these creatures it is our duty to show them how we want them to behave in our human world using methods that are humane, backed by behavioral science, and proven effective.

Our emphasis is not only training commands and cues but using them in the context of everyday structure and routine.

Basic obedience training makes life simple to your dog and eliminates confusion. Basic Obedience is a term most people understand & associate with training- While I use this term in general, I prefer to call it Life skill training which involves cooperation, collaboration, teamwork and assistance. Training is more about promoting confidence and self-control in our dogs while gaining the cooperation we want without the need to dominate or intimidate.

Training your dog properly opens up an effective communication line. It is one of the best ways to build a healthier stronger relationship with your companion. More important you will learn how your dog perceives his world as well as how he/she learns while utilizing positive reinforcement skills to make learning rewarding, fun, successful, and easy as possible. Your dog will learn how to live in a home environment successfully.

Teaching your dog basic life skills and providing mental enrichment, the right amount of exercise will prevent and discourage unwanted and inappropriate behaviors.

Another important part of the learning process is to set your dog up for success by managing their environment and making it easy your dog to do well.
