Four Paws Fitness

Get fit with your best friend the fun way. Join this fun, social and supportive dog & owner fitness group. Four Paws Fitness is an intense but fun workout specifically designed for you and your dog. Exercising together in our specialized classes not only strengthens the bond between dogs and owners, it brings love and excitement into your relationship as you both work together to achieve and maintain your health and fitness potential.

Classes are 60 –70 minutes in length. We begin with a warm up and move on to a cardio, strength training, muscular endurance or flexibility class. Whatever your fitness level, we have a class designed specifically for you. All owners and dogs must complete an initial consultation. This helps us to safely to determine your fitness level, your personal goals, and provides an informative screening of your dog to ensure that he/she is healthy enough participate in or classes. You will complete a health questionnaire. We will test your dog’s obedience skills, confidence and socialization skills and temperament.h your best friend the fun way. When you Register, you will receive a welcome pack that includes health and nutrition, and safety exercise tips for you and your dog. Our classes meet 5 days a week; am and pm.

Christie has been involved in fitness all her life. She has taught aerobics, step class and Yoga. She enjoys weight training, Kick-boxing , playing tennis and hiking. She is the Founder of “Renewing Hearts For Women”, a ministry/support group for women that are struggling with eating disorders, sexual assault and abuse.

Her passion for health and healing of others and her love of dogs inspired her to design a class for you and your “Best Friend.” Christie believes that it is important that every person and dog have a chance at a happy, healthy, and loving life.

Classes are 1 hour long Mon- Fri (morning and evening}. We work out in local Parks.

A great socializing environment for you and your dog. You will meet other pets and dog-lovers.

Scheduled Classes include the following: hiking, jogging, strength training, and Boot camp

Senior Classes (65 and up) 10% discount

Graduation:

After you and your dog have successfully completed a six week course with Four Paws Fitness.. You and your dog will be healthier,happier and fitter. You and your dog will receive an exclusive Four Paws Fitness certificate of achievement.

 

Requirements For Exercise Class:

Proof of current vaccinations.

Collar and leash for your dog.

Water for you and your dog.

Exercise mat

Towel

Poop bags

Dumbbells {as determined by your initial consultation}

 

Rules: (Sorry, but we have to have them)

No aggressive dogs allowed.

Current rabies vaccinations required

All dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Only one dog per person  (if you have more than one dog, why not bring a friend along?)

Dogs must be a minimum of six months old.

Fee: $250. for 6 week course
