Our approach to dog behavior is to first establish Pet Parent’s role as calm assertive loving leaders and to give their dog boundaries, limitations and affection. We encourage dog Pet parents to understand the effect of their own attitudes, internal emotions and physical postures that have an effect on their dog’s behavior. For example- A common pitfall for many pet parents is that they give a great deal of affection with very little direction and even less exercise thus not fulfilling a dog’s needs.
We strongly advocate that training should be positive and consistent. Training isn’t just about commands- it’s about leadership role, balance, structure and clear communication and patience.
At Training Your Best Friend LLC , we are committed to providing the resources and support necessary to build lifelong relationships between people and their canine companions. Offering a broad range of educational programs and services, our goal is to help dog guardians better understand how their dogs learn and communicate, and how to effectively bridge that communication using proven positive reinforcement methods
