It is important to create a safe, structured environment for fearful dogs to learn and face their fears in a positive gentle way. It is equally essential to give them space to train at a pace each dog can handle comfortably. This class provides consistency and predictability so that that the dog knows what to expect. Class focuses on desensitizing dogs to different triggers and creating positive associations with things they are normally scared of. You will learn to identify the signs of stress and fear in your dog and how to work with them in various situations.

Rover is a specialized, 7-week Behavior Modification training program designed for dogs who show aggression toward people, other dogs, or both.
We begin with an orientation session for handlers only, giving you the tools and preparation you need before hands-on work with your dog.

Classes are held outdoors at a private location (away from people and other dogs). At the beginning of actual hands-on training, each handler and their dog will be place at a safe distance as not to allow each dog to go over their threshold and remain calm as possible. Safety is our first priority.

With years of experience and a proven track record in addressing aggressive and fearful behaviors, I specialize in helping dogs—and their people—navigate these challenging situations. Aggressive behavior does not resolve on its own; without intervention, it can worsen in both frequency and intensity.

Through positive reinforcement, effective management skills, and behavior modification techniques, you will learn how to:
Lower stress for both you and your dog
Build calmness, focus, and trust
Teach alternative responses to triggers
Reinforce the absence of reactivity
Boost your dog’s confidence in you and their environment

You’ll also gain the skills to better read your dog’s body language, help them make better choices in stressful situations, and handle scenarios that once triggered aggressive responses.
