We Offer a 6-Week Basic Obedience Class for Dogs and Puppy Classes, Behavior Classes (for aggressive dogs, fearful dogs)…and Agility Classes for Dogs and Puppy Dogs that have Completed Certain Classes
Basic Obedience is a dynamic eight-week class for dogs 6 months and older. The first class is an hour and a half orientation.
This session provides information to prepare you for group classes. We will discuss training terms and equipment, dog behavior. socialization, and class structure so that you are able to jump into classes right away. We will also cover Canine Cognition – how dogs learn – this will help you help your dog learn successfully and to actually love learning and training.
Basic Obedience Class provides a solid foundation and will enhance the relationship between you and your dog. You will learn:
– skills to improve your dog’s behavior
– communication: voice tone, body language, facial expressions, eye contact
– the basic commands
– leash training, and more
In addition, our basic obedience class addresses some of the most common problem issues: jumping, barking, pulling on a leash, chewing and much more.
During our training we will have some fun games and exercises for you and your dog so you can have fun learning together! Owners will begin to learn how to make good behavior FUN so that even in highly distracting situations your dog look to you for guidance and permission.
Class size is limited to give you and your companion more individualized attention and to ensure success and safety.

Fearful and Aggressive Dog Behavior Classes – Raleigh
We offer three different classes for dogs who struggle a bit with behavior issues, mainly fear and/or aggressiveness.
Reactive Rover – Aggressive Dog Training
Our Reactive Rover class is intended to help owners with over-reactive dogs. These are dogs that react negatively to other dogs and/or people with behaviors such as growling, barking, lunging or nervous shaking.
We will help you learn handling skills based on “BAT – Behavior Adjustment Training for Reactivity”, by Grisha Stewart.

Fearful Fido – A Class for the Scared Dog – Raleigh
If your dog cowers with people and/or other dogs, then this class can help. Some dogs have a sensitive personality, allowing things in their environment or even inanimate objects make them scared or nervous. Even if it’s just strangers, new dogs, or the vacuum cleaner, our Fearful Fido Class is appropriate for a fearful dog to learn in a class environment with a controlled and calm setting.
This course is not intended to teach basic obedience manners such as: sit, stay, come etc. If that is what you are looking for check out our Basic Obedience Training Class. This class is available to dogs at least six months old, so it can be a puppy dog training class. Upon completion, your best friend might be ready to take the Obedience Training Class.

Dog Training Agility Classes – Raleigh
Puppy Agility & Obstacle Class
Our Puppy Agility classes give you and your puppy a chance to have a blast as your puppy gets to move through the various agility obstacles. Your puppy will grow in confidence, build coordination and learn how to safely execute agility obstacles, preparing them with the skills for the advanced classes. Puppy Agility is an eight-week course.

Dog Agility Class – Raleigh
The Agility Class is a popular class where your dog learns to be directed through a variety of obstacles: tunnels, a teeter-totter, tire jump, weave poles and other jumps and challenges.
This is an eight-week class for dogs at least one year old and that has passed a few other classes (see more on the link below). Your dog will build confidence, more agility and have fun moving through the obstacles. The equipment is set to lower heights for beginners.
Agility training is a great way to provide exercise your dog AND fulfill his natural instincts to embrace challenge.
