Public Manners is a seven-week curriculum that meets at various locations weekly so we can work around countless distractions. This class is designed to offer great opportunities for you to put your dog in “real-world” situations while remaining in a semi- controlled environment, allowing you to train your dog and establish the relationship and leadership you’ll need with your dog when you go out in public.

Training begins in a low-distraction environment and gradually progresses with new exercises each week at specific locations. This helps your dog adapt to real-life situations through structured training in different settings.

Public Manners training focuses on socialization, leash skills, basic commands, and improving focus. Dogs learn to walk through crowds, greet politely, and settle down in public places like restaurants, coffee shops etc. Training includes an obstacle course to enhance communication and teamwork. Common behavioral issues like jumping, barking, and lunging are addressed, equipping owners with skills to manage their dogs both at home and in public.
