Reactive Rover Level Two/ May 4/ Registration
May 4 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
$335.00Reactive Rover Level Two is a seven-week Behavior Modification that takes the skills learned at level one and adds additional exercises to further build confidence, strengthen the relationship between the dog and owner, and directs the dog’s focus onto fun things to do next, rather than reacting to other dogs and or people. We will add new upgraded BAT Training skills such as navigating your dog through Bat Setups with a longer lead. This class engages the dog both mentally and physically in a positive manner.
Reactive Rover 2 teaches more advanced obedience skills, more control, focus and confidence-building exercises, and more natural activities around other dogs. It provides a great transition to real world environments. Depending on class make-up and individual dogs, this class may progress to on-leash meet-and-greets, including teaching your dog better doggy social skills. Students get more advanced instruction on recognizing and responding effectively to the myriad social cues and body postures that indicate good, low-risk interactions versus higher-risk interactions.
Some Of The Skills You And Your Dog Will Work Together To Achieve Include:
- Sustained eye contact with other dogs
- Introduction to a fun obstacle course
- Introduction to Nose work
- Space Navigation/Leash Walking Real-Life Turn-and-Go
- Mat work/Settling with Distractions
